You can also use the Parent Dashboard to add books from your account to your kid's library, view reading progress, adjust age filters, set a device bedtime, and more.

The Kindle Colorsoft Kids Edition was released last July, and it's essentially the same as the Kindle Colorsoft adult version, but with the aforementioned perks. The color screen is ideal for comic books and picture books. There's a temperature-adjustable light for reading at night, and the battery lasts up to 8 weeks.
