We're on the third day of Prime Day, and I keep finding more deals on fitness trackers and smartwatches. I've broken off Apple, Samsung, and Pixel smartwatches into their own list, so check there if that's the main thing you're looking for. Still here? Over the past day I've added deals on Suunto, Polar, and RingConn, and we're now seeing all-time-low prices on Oura, Whoop, and Fitbit trackers, which you can read about below, and plenty of Garmin deals as well.

Prime deals on Whoop

Whoop's screenless fitness tracker is one of the best devices out there for in-depth analysis of your workout and recovery data. You can read more here about how I use mine, and you may also want to check out my review of the 5.0/MG device. The strap comes bundled with a 12-month subscription. The lowest tier is not on sale, but the other two are:

  • Whoop Peak with a 5.0 device, $189, normally $239. (This now a lower price than the bottom tier, Whoop One.) Peak is the subscription I'd recommend for pretty much everybody.

  • Whoop Life with an MG device, $299, normally $359. To be honest, I don't think the extra cost is worth it. All you get is ECG functionality on the strap, and a blood pressure feature of dubious usefulness. Go with Peak.

The Oura Ring 5 just came out recently (here's my review), so it's not surprising that we're seeing deep discounts on the Oura Ring 4. The ceramic finishes are on sale for the first time ever, and both those and the gold finishes are nearly 50% off. The Oura Ring 4 is available in smaller and larger sizes than the 5, so if you wear a size 4, 5, 14, or 15, you may want to snap one of these up:

  • Black and silver finishes are $226, normally $249.

  • Matte black and brushed silver, $226, normally $399.

  • Gold and rose gold, $259, normally $499. That's an incredibly good deal at 48% off.

  • Ceramic finishes, $259, normally $499 (in white, navy, pastel green, or pink). Again: wowza. These are going quickly: you can still get the pastels in size 15, as of this writing, and white and navy in size 4, but the ceramics are already sold out in many of the mid-range sizes.

Prime deals on Fitbit fitness trackers

Again, a recent release (the screenless Fitbit Air) means we're seeing sale prices on older models. These Fitbits work with the same Google Health app as the Air, and they also have a slim profile, but with the bonus of having a screen so you can tell the time. Both of these are at their lowest price ever, and their prices have also dropped by about $4 between yesterday and today.

  • The Fitbit Charge 6 is $85.45, which is already a great price, at $60 off the original. The Charge 6 is a good (if minimalist) tracker that does the basics reasonably well. Unlike the Air and the Inspire, it has its own GPS. See my review of the Fitbit Charge 6 here.

  • The Fitbit Inspire 3 is $66.45, $30 less than usual. A lesser-known plus of the Inspire and Charge is that you can get a clip to wear it on your waistband for step tracking (no heart rate, obviously).

Prime deals on Garmin fitness watches

Garmin recently came out with the Forerunner 70 and 170, meaning its older models are ripe for discounts. Garmins age well, so even going two generations back can still get you an excellent watch. In fact, Garmin is running enough deals, including on pre-owned devices, that I have a separate article here to help you choose a model according to your budget. Here are a few of my favorite deals on new (not refurbished) watches:

  • Garmin Forerunner 55, $149.99, originally $199.99: This is the most basic of the Garmin running watches you can buy new, but it was good enough for Sabastian Sawe to wear to break the sub-2-hour marathon barrier.

  • Garmin Forerunner 165, $199.99, originally $249.99. This is a beloved entry-level running watch. The music version is also on sale; it runs $50 more than the standard.

  • Garmin Forerunner 265, $349.99, originally $449.99: This was one of my favorite Garmins of all time when it was new, although it isn't the latest and greatest anymore. It's got dual-band GPS, works with power meters, and has advanced analytics like training status.

  • Garmin Vivoactive 5: $189.99, normally $229.99. This is another favorite of mine, a nice casual fitness watch where most actions are done with the touchscreen, but it still has two physical buttons to start, stop, and lap your workouts. It's since been replaced by the Vivoactive 6 ($299.99) but I still think the 5 is a great watch. This sale price isn't a rare one, but keep an eye out for deeper discounts in the days to come.

  • Garmin Epix Pro (Gen 2) Sapphire Edition: $499.99, originally $999.99. This watch was released alongside the Fenix 7 Pro in 2023. It's since been replaced with the Fenix 8 series, but is an excellent watch regardless. It has an AMOLED screen, plus extras that Forerunners don't have, like golfing features, tides, and fish forecasts.

Prime deals on Suunto fitness watches

The Suunto Run is one of the best entry-level running watches I've tested. It was originally $249, usually goes for $199 these days, and in today's sale, it's $148.99. This watch has a big, bright AMOLED screen, dual-band GPS, and can either store music or control the music that's playing on your phone. That's comparable to what you get with Garmins that are more than double the price. If I were buying my first running watch today, this is absolutely the one I'd get. You can read my full review of the Suunto Run here, or check out the other deals on Suunto today, including the Race 2 with maps for $398.99 (normally $499.00) and the Vertical for $448.99 (normally $549.00)

What do you think so far?

Prime deals on Polar wearables and heart rate monitors

The Polar Loop, a Whoop-like screenless wearable, is on its first-ever sale, priced at $169.99 (normally $199.99). You can read my review, but I have to admit it's my least favorite among the new crop of screenless devices. Still, if you like the look, or if you're already a fan of the Polar ecosystem, now is a good time to pick this one up.

Polar is better known for its chest strap heart rate monitors, and some of their best models are on sale today, too:

  • Polar H9 chest strap heart rate monitor: $56.44 (normally $69.90)

  • Polar H10 chest strap heart rate monitor: $89.21 (normally $104.95). The H10 can do two Bluetooth connections at a time, and has an internal memory to store data from your last training session. (The H9 lacks these features.)

  • Polar Verity Sense armband monitor: $87.74 (normally $104.95). Note that this is an optical sensor, like the kind on smartwatches. It's less accurate than an electrical chest strap, but many folks find the arm positioning makes this a good compromise between comfort and accuracy.

Prime deals on RingConn smart rings

RingConn makes smart rings with a long battery life and some neat extra features, like headache detection and the ability to turn on a blue light to find a lost ring that's fallen onto the floor of your car or into your laundry basket. (Ask me how I know.) The Gen 2 ring is $209.30 today, normally $299.99. This is the slightly older model; you can read my review of it here. You're not missing much in going for the Gen 2 instead of the current Gen 3, but here's my review of the Gen 3 for comparison.

Prime deals on Smartwatches

Smartwatches are on sale. I have more smartwatch deals here, but here are the highlights:
