If you’re looking for cordless tools, buying some with a battery set that is durable and also is compatible with a wide range of tools will set you up for success. Getting a cordless tool set as a bundle can be a good way to save some money if you’re just building your home DIY kit because they usually come with batteries and a charger. It’s a simple way to get the basic tools you need for DIY projects as well as a few extras.

The Milwaukee 18-volt,  6-tool combo set is on sale for $449, 55% off its regular price. This set comes with a drill, an impact driver, an oscillating multitool, an angle grinder, a circular saw, a work light, two 4-amp-hour batteries, a charger, and a tool bag. This is a good basic beginner set that will allow you to do DIY projects like mounting a flatscreen TV or changing hardware on cabinets and drawers.

An oscillating multitool is versatile because you can swap out blades to cut wood, drywall, plaster, metal, or PVC. It also has attachments that let you add ending and finishing accessories to it to get into smaller, harder to reach spots.
