Prime Day Deals Smart Home Devices

Table of Contents

Prime Day is June 23 to 26, and Lifehacker is sharing the best sales based on product reviews, comparisons, and price-tracking tools before it's over.

Prime Day has brought worthwhile discounts to several smart-home categories, including speakers, displays, smart plugs and outlets, and robot vacuums. Prices start at $37.99 for a smart outlet, while some premium robot vacuums are discounted by more than $400. I’ve grouped the strongest deals below and noted where ecosystem compatibility, subscriptions, or installation requirements could affect the final cost.

These smart speakers start at just $65

Amazon Echo Dot Max: At $64.99, down from $99.99, the Echo Dot Max is Amazon's best answer to the HomePod mini—and at this price, it undercuts Apple's alternative while adding a full smart home hub (Zigbee, Thread, Matter) that the HomePod mini lacks.

Amazon Echo Studio: At $174.99, down from $219.99, the overhauled Echo Studio is 40% smaller than its 2019 predecessor but built for the same role: Amazon's best-sounding smart speaker. For Alexa+ performance, Fire TV home theater integration, and sound that decently fills a room, this is worth considering.

JBL Authentics 200: At $189.95, down from $379.95—a 50% cut—the JBL Authentics 200 is the best argument for buying a smart speaker that isn't made by Amazon or Apple. It supports both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, plus AirPlay 2 and Chromecast, so mixed-assistant households don't have to pick a side.

These Amazon smart displays are up to $80 off

Amazon Echo Show 8 (4th Gen, 2025): At $124.99, down from $179.99, the fourth-generation Echo Show 8 is the clearest upgrade in Amazon's 2025 lineup. The 8.7-inch screen is large enough for recipes, video calls, and camera feeds without taking over the kitchen counter, and its built-in hub can control compatible smart home devices from the same screen, essentially pulling triple duty. And if you want to scale things up to 11 inches, the Echo Show 11 is also discounted to $149.99 from $219.99.

Amazon Echo Show 21: At $319.99, down from $399.99, the Echo Show 21 is the family command center version of this lineup: a 21-inch display that doubles as a Fire TV-powered streaming screen and can wall-mount for a true smart home dashboard.

Amazon Echo Hub: The Echo Hub now costs $109.99 instead of its usual $179.99 and is for people whose collection of lights, locks, cameras, and thermostats has outgrown the Alexa app. Mount it by a door or on a nightstand, and you get a whole-home dashboard that Alexa can actually talk to. A smart buy for anyone if you want a visual control center for your devices.

These smart plugs and outlets are less than $40

Eve Energy Outlet: At $37.99, down from $54.95, the Eve Energy Outlet is the plug for anyone who values ecosystem independence. It's Matter-certified and compatible with Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and SmartThings without needing any of their bridges or accounts—just connect it directly via wifi and add it to whichever app you prefer.

What do you think so far?

Kasa Smart Plug Power Strip HS300: The Kasa HS300 is selling for $37.99 instead of $49.99 and is useful for a desk or entertainment center crowded with devices. Its surge-protected six outlets can be controlled separately via the Kasa app, Alexa, or Google Assistant, and the three USB ports help clear a few charging bricks from the floor.

These robot vacuums are discounted by as much as $435

Ecovacs Deebot X11 OmniCyclone: The X11 OmniCyclone is down to $699 from $1,099.99, putting a flagship robot vacuum into midrange territory. Its headlining feature is its bagless dock—a Dyson-style cyclone canister that pops out for emptying, eliminating the ongoing cost of replacement bags. You can learn more about it in PCMag’s full review.

Roborock Qrevo Edge 2: Roborock’s Qrevo Edge 2 has fallen to $864.99 from $1,299.99 and is the heavy hitter of this group. It has enough suction for carpets, mops with real downward pressure, reaches into corners, and can lift itself over thresholds that stop many competing vacuums. Plus, its Matter support means it integrates cleanly with Alexa, Siri, and Google Home.

iRobot Roomba 415X Robot Vacuum and Mop: At $399.99 (down from $799.99), the iRobot Roomba 415X is half off, and is the easiest recommendation for anyone who wants a mostly hands-off setup without paying close to four figures. It combines vacuuming and mopping with an AutoEmpty dock and multi-function self-cleaning capabilities, backed by iRobot’s long experience with navigation and obstacle avoidance.

Looking for something else? Retailers like Walmart and Best Buy run Prime Day-style sales that are especially useful if you don’t have Amazon Prime.
