Long Holiday

For Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day, I was too lazy to deal with visas, so I booked a ticket to Serbia 🇷🇸 with afc163 and just took off. Two guys, not much luggage, and not much of a plan (afc163 said planning is a real pain), we just went with the flow. The trip was tiring, but we had a lot of great experiences, especially driving from Serbia to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The 6-hour mountain drive showed us the shift from agriculture in the north of these countries to animal husbandry in the south. I've written a really long travelogue, probably a few thousand words already, and I'm still not done. It's full of stories about the messes we got ourselves into.

Don't be a burden on society.

Hangzhou is considered a pretty civilized city, but lately when I've been hiking, I've still found quite a bit of trash on the mountains, like tea egg wrappers and potato chip bags. It's really infuriating. Every time I go hiking, I end up bringing two bags of trash down from the mountain.

Science and Technology Museum

The other day, I went to the science and technology museum with Dabao. Although it's called a science and technology museum, I felt that the technology inside was pretty outdated. There was mostly science education type of content, which makes sense. High-end technology wouldn't be put in a place full of kids. But, I can still feel that the country has been paying more and more attention to these things in recent years, allowing some scientific and technological advancements to reach the general public. Oh! Especially this year, children's programming has become really popular.

Not a big-time womanizer

Finally got my hands on the "Red Dead Redemption 2" game disc on the 30th. After playing for about 6 hours, I was blown away by the storyline and the NPCs' reactions. It’s safe to say it's another masterpiece from Rockstar. You can really see their expertise in designing this type of game (those Rockstar employees complaining about overwork might actually be telling the truth). Some of the screenshots online are just stunning, like landscape masterpieces. I've even been dreaming about riding horses and galloping through the wilderness these past few nights.
