Bridge, A human-centric time zone tool
CaiCai · 2025-01-04 · via CaiCai's Blog

I'm very happy to introduce our latest product by Boring Design, Bridge.

The idea for Bridge came from our own experience as a remote development team. Working across time zones, we often needed a seamless macOS tool to synchronize schedules effortlessly. This inspired us to create a product that simplifies time coordination and ensures we’re better prepared for remote meetings by understanding the local contexts of our teammates.

Why “Bridge”?

As the name suggests, we envision this product as a bridge connecting remote teams. In the digital age, while we may be scattered across the globe, technology brings us closer. Bridge was designed to make these connections feel more natural and meaningful.

What Makes Bridge Different?

Unlike traditional timezone apps that simply display various time zones, Bridge adds a personal touch. Users can set time zones based on team members and see additional context like local weather and holidays, creating a more holistic view of their collaborators’ environments.

Of course, Bridge isn't just designed for remote teams. Anyone who deals with multiple time zones can benefit from Bridge to access information from other time zones. Whether you want to check the time for family back home, or before calling your mother in a distant city, Bridge helps you understand their local context. When your friends are traveling, you can easily adjust to their new time zone to stay seamlessly connected.

If you are interested in this app, you can download and use it through the Apple Store: https://apps.apple.com/ca/app/bridge-connect-with-partners/id6738511068?mt=12
