Hi there,

We use some custom scripts to automatically roll back VMs to a specific snapshot. We do this using the Proxmox API's rollback endpoint.
To determine when the rollback has completed, we continuously poll the VM status of the rollback task via the API. During this process, we occasionally receive a 596 Broken Pipe error.
Has anyone experienced similar issues, or does anyone know what could cause this error?

We are running Proxmox VE 9.1.9 with kernel Linux 6.17.13-6-pve (2026-04-30T08:48Z).
