Hamina now has Orb built-in

Orb capabilities are now integrated with Hamina Live wireless platform, enabling Wi-Fi professionals to gain a complete view of the internet experience.

Hamina is a leading wireless network analysis and planning platform that helps enterprise IT teams design, analyze, and troubleshoot wireless networks. Hamina Live provides real-time visibility into network quality through advanced 3D mapping, AI-assisted analysis, and comprehensive coverage insights.

Good Wi-Fi isn't just about speed. It's not just about coverage either — it's about the quality of the radio environment and the actual internet experience.

The quality of the internet experience comes down to:

  • Responsiveness — how much lag you experience
  • Reliability — whether the connection stays up and remains stable
  • Speed — how fast the network downloads and uploads common content

Now, Orb and Hamina are joining forces to cover both sides of the equation:

  • Orb measures the actual internet experience
  • Hamina measures Wi-Fi radio environment quality

Orb now integrates with Hamina Live — the real-time network analysis, troubleshooting, and remediation platform. This integration supports leading enterprise networking systems such as Cisco Meraki, Cisco Catalyst Center, HPE-Juniper Mist, HPE-Aruba Central, Ruckus, Extreme Networks, and Arista.

Organizations using Hamina + Orb benefit from:

  • Complete visibility into both the radio environment (via Hamina) and the actual internet experience (via Orb)
  • Reduced troubleshooting time through comprehensive network quality data
  • A clearer understanding of whether issues stem from wireless infrastructure or internet connectivity
  • Enterprise-scale visibility with continuous monitoring from Orb sensors

With the new Orb integration, Hamina Live now provides real-time network quality analysis as measured by end-user devices (phones, laptops, etc.). Hamina Live users get a simple 0–100 Orb Score for all Orb-powered devices in the network, along with a real-time stream of network quality stats such as lag, responsiveness, and reliability metrics. Advanced signal coverage, interference, and capacity details are also available.

By combining Orb’s continuous internet experience monitoring with Hamina’s detailed wireless network analysis, IT teams can now answer the complete question:

Is the problem my Wi-Fi infrastructure, or is it my internet connection?
