Orb Cloud Analytics for all

Orb Cloud Analytics for all

Understanding your personal network experience should not require a paid subscription. That’s why we’re opening Orb Cloud Analytics to every Orb user—including those on a free plan.

Previously, Cloud Analytics were reserved for customers with a paid Orb subscription. Now, anyone using Orb Cloud can chart their score data, explore recent trends, and better understand how their network experience changes over time.

Go beyond the current score

Score Dashboard
Score Dashboard

Your current Orb Score provides an immediate snapshot of your network experience. But connectivity issues do not always happen while you are looking at the app.

Orb Scores may decline during certain hours, Responsiveness Scores may fluctuate throughout the day, or there may be periodic reliability issues observed on your network. Analytics helps you look beyond the current moment and see how your network has been performing over time.

With Orb Cloud Analytics, free users can now chart and explore all score data (Orb Score, Responsiveness Score, Reliability Score, and Speed Score) for the past 72 hours.

This makes it easier to identify patterns, compare scores across devices, and understand which part of your network experience may be affecting your overall Orb Score.

Analytics access on the free plan

Free, personal Orb accounts now include access to the core score data in Orb Cloud Analytics, with up to 72 hours of history.

This gives every user the ability to:

  • Chart recent Orb Score and sub-score data
  • See how scores change throughout the day
  • Identify recurring periods of poor connectivity
  • Compare Responsiveness Score, Reliability Score, and Speed Score trends
  • Review what happened when their network experience declined

Orb users wishing to view time periods longer than 72 hours and access to the full history of all Orb measures and dimensions can either upgrade to an Orb Pro plan for as little as $5 per month or utilize Local Analytics completely for free.

Better insight for every Orb user

Orb was built to make internet and network experience visible. Expanding Analytics to free, individual users is another step toward making that visibility available to everyone.

A score can tell you how your network is performing right now. Orb Cloud Analytics can help you understand the bigger picture.

New Cloud Analytics users do not need to make any adjustments to their Orbs or Orb configuration to start using the new feature. Simply open Analytics in Orb Cloud to start exploring your score history, or visit the Orb Cloud Analytics documentation to learn more.
