Orb's path to sustainability

At Orb, we believe that trust is the foundation of what we build. That is why we are not planning to sell your data. Instead, we are focusing on other ways to earn revenue while continuing to provide value for all users.

The cost of “free” tools

Many businesses rely on free tools and platforms to save on upfront costs, but those savings often come with a hidden price. Data is collected, shared, and sometimes sold in order to fund the service. Ads and tracking get added into the experience, turning users into the product rather than the customer.

This trade-off can create risks for both businesses and their customers, from reduced trust to limited control over how information is used. At Orb, we believe there is a better way. By offering clear subscription options and enterprise integrations, we give our users the tools they need without requiring them to sacrifice privacy.

Plus plans

Power users and homelab enthusiasts can subscribe to Orb Plus to unlock more flexibility and control. Plus plans include a larger number of Orbs, advanced analytics for deeper insights, multiple deployment tokens for easier setup, and more. These features make it easier to manage bigger projects or shared environments, while also helping Orb continue to grow.

Business plans

Businesses will be able to subscribe to Orb for features like advanced monitoring dashboards, real-time alerts, large Orb fleet deployment enablement, and priority support. These plans help organizations stay ahead of network issues while supporting Orb’s growth.

Enterprise and ISP integrations

We also work closely with larger organizations, such as enterprises and internet service providers. Orb can help them monitor networks at scale, detect outages faster, and greatly improve customer care. These relationships are long-term, and they create value for both sides.

Conclusion

Orb’s revenue will come from subscriptions and enterprise integrations, not from selling your data. Our goal is simple, your data should work for you, and our business model reflects that.
