Embracing TikTok

I've had a TikTok account for a while. I was a passive scroller. But, today I made my first video based on my blog post. It's about how building a great team is like cooking a good meal. You need the right people, not just a lot of people.

I wanted to share a simple thought: making a successful team is like making a great dish. It's more about having the right team members than having many. I used hashtags like #leadership and #hiring to reach people who might like this idea.

The Challenge

I'm okay with speaking at events, but TikTok was new for me. It took me quite a few tries to get it right. The sound wasn't great, and I'm still learning how TikTok works. But I wanted to give it a shot.

Jumping into TikTok felt new and a bit tricky. The videos are short, so I had to get my point across quickly. Using TikTok and editing video wasn't as easy but I had fun.

Reflecting on It

Making my first TikTok video wasn't just about trying a new app. It was about figuring out how to share my ideas in a new way. It wasn't perfect, but it was a start. So that's the story of my first TikTok video. I'm looking forward to making more and getting better at this. I hope you'll join me on this journey and see what else I come up with! Here's my video!

If you're into ideas about leading teams or just want to see how I do with TikTok, I'd love to have you follow along.
