Thermal Grizzly has introduced the DeltaMate MPII CPU water block series for custom liquid cooling systems. The new blocks are positioned for recent AMD and Intel desktop platforms and use a construction focused on metal components, fine cold-plate machining, and a visible coolant chamber. Both models use a nickel-plated copper cold plate, a nickel-plated brass housing, and standard G1/4-inch ports. The viewing window is made from borosilicate glass, while the outer cover is anodized aluminum. Thermal Grizzly also includes ARGB lighting, which connects through a standard 3-pin 5 V header on compatible motherboards. A cover is included to hide screws and the mounting system if a cleaner external appearance is preferred. The DeltaMate CPU Block MPII AM5 Black is optimized for AMD Socket AM5 and remains backward compatible with AM4. Thermal Grizzly uses a hybrid cold-plate layout for this model. The area above the Ryzen CCDs uses 25 microfins with 0.2 mm fin and slot width, while the section above the I/O die uses 29 wider 0.4 mm fins for coolant distribution.
The Intel model, named DeltaMate CPU Block MPII Intel 1851 Black, targets LGA1851 and is backward compatible with LGA1700. Its cold plate uses 40 microfins with 0.2 mm spacing above the CPU tile area. Additional 0.3 mm fins above and below that section are used to guide coolant flow through the block. The AM5 version is available now. Thermal Grizzly states that the Intel version will follow shortly.
