Maono Launches P Series Hybrid Audio Interface to Power the Next Generation of Multi-Platform Creators
by btarunr · 2026-06-16 · via TechPowerUp

Maono, a global leader in hybrid microphone technology that combines wireless freedom (2.4 GHz) with wired-level professionalism (USB/XLR), today announced the launch of the Maono P Series Hybrid Audio Interface, a new range designed to meet the evolving needs of creators working across multiple devices, platforms and workflows. The Maono P Series is now available on Amazon US and the Maono website for $129.99. There is currently a 10% off Discount available with code MAONOP110 from 15th to 21st June.

As content creation expands across platforms, creators increasingly move between laptops, smartphones, tablets, and camera-based setups, blending recording, livestreaming, and production workflows. The Maono P Series addresses this shift through a hybrid approach to connectivity and usability, enabling streamlined multi-device creation without added technical complexity.

Designed for clarity and reliability, the P Series incorporates high-performance preamps with extremely low noise levels. The P1 delivers up to 70 dB gain with an EIN of -130.6 dB, enabling detailed capture with gain-hungry dynamic microphones. The P2 provides up to 56 dB gain with -129.5 dB EIN, ensuring clean and consistent audio for multi-person recording setups.

The primary difference between the two models lies in their input and output configurations. The P1 is designed for solo creators and streamlined workflows, featuring one Mic/Line input, one instrument input, a single microphone preamp, and a 3.5 mm headphone output. It also includes an Auto Gain function, which automatically optimises recording levels, making it particularly accessible for beginners and entry-level users.

The P2 is designed for dual-person recording and more flexible production setups. It features two Mic/Line/Instrument combo inputs, dual microphone preamps, and both 3.5 mm and 6.35 mm (1/4") headphone outputs. An additional USB power input allows independent or auxiliary power supply, supporting mobile recording and more complex streaming environments.

Both models include USB OTG connectivity for direct use with smartphones and tablets, as well as stereo loopback with three channels, enabling simultaneous capture of system audio and microphone input making it ideal for livestreaming, gaming, and content production. Additional features include dedicated mute buttons, intuitive gain indicators, and separate controls for headphone and monitor outputs, improving flexibility across recording and monitoring scenarios.

The P Series also supports direct integration with cameras and mobile devices via 3.5 mm outputs. The P1 includes a dedicated camera output, while the P2 expands this with both camera and phone outputs for greater versatility.

Designed for a wide range of users, including podcasters, streamers, musicians, and mobile creators, the P Series lowers the barrier to professional audio production while supporting modern, flexible workflows.

Key Features:

  • Hybrid audio interface for multi-device, multi-platform workflows
  • Up to 70dB microphone gain for low-sensitivity dynamic microphones
  • 24-bit/192 kHz high-resolution audio
  • USB OTG connectivity for direct mobile integration
  • Auto Gain function for simplified level control (P1)
  • Independent USB power support for mobile stability (P2)
  • Stereo loopback with three channels for streaming and recording
  • Separate headphone and monitor output controls
  • Camera and mobile output integration via 3.5 mm connections
