NVIDIA over the weekend released the GeForce Hotfix driver version 610.52. Hotfixes are non-WHQL drivers is released out of turn to address glaring bugs or issues affecting users from a recent driver release. Version 610.52 addresses a frame-pacing bug affecting certain monitors with G-SYNC being enabled on a machine with GeForce RTX 40-series "Ada" GPUs. The drivers also resolve an issue that prevented EDID from being read on certain monitors, causing them to be identified as "NVIDIA NV-Failsafe." Gaming stability on multi-monitor configurations with V-Sync and DLSS Frame Generation being enabled, has been improved. A bug that caused certain monitors to not correctly wake up from sleep, causing users to restart the monitors, has been fixed.

The Hotfix also addresses certain other issues. Certain gaming stability issues with "World of Warcraft" have been fixed. An issue that causes jittering or ghosting in DirectX 11 games with Smooth Motion enabled, has been fixed. Another issue that caused certain games to crash at launch with Smooth Motion enabled, has been fixed. The drivers also introduce stability issues related to the system when it fails to create a new allocation.
