SilverStone today released the ALTA T1, a premium HPTX super-tower case featuring an aluminium unibody chassis with anodized aluminium panels. The case is made of 4.3-8 mm thick aluminium sheet metal. It is meant for enthusiast-segment PC or workstation builds, and homelab AI inferencing builds, with support for SSI-EEB, SSI-CEB, EATX, ATX, and smaller motherboard form-factors. The case features 8 expansion slots, with room for up to four dual-slot graphics cards. A key feature is its dual PSU support, where you can install either two standard ATX PSUs, or a combination of ATX and 2U CRPS redundant PSUs.
The SilverStone ALTA T1 serves up room for graphics cards up to 55 cm in length in its massive upper compartment, and CPU coolers up to 18.8 cm in height. An expansion card support retainer reduces this to 16.5 cm. Drive bays include four 3.5-inch and five mounts for 2.5-inch (9 mm-thick) drives. The case supports up to three 420 mm radiators (140 mm x 420 mm), if you use a single PSU configuration; or at least two 420 mm radiators in dual PSU configuration. These are mounted along the top, and the two side panels.
The primary PSU has a depth limitation of 32 cm, while the second PSU has practically unlimited room. Front panel connectivity includes two 20 Gbps USB-C, two 10 Gbps USB 3.2 Gen 2 type-A, and a headset jack. Including its 52 mm-tall caster wheels, the case measures 250 mm x 669 mm x 592 mm (WxHxD). The company didn't reveal pricing.
