Princeton Memory introduced the PHD-ISM2G4DG, a mainstream M.2 NVMe Gen 4 SSD. The drive comes in 512 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB capacities, and is based on a Phison E27T series DRAMless controller, which it surprisingly pairs with 3D TLC NAND flash memory. The entry-level 512 GB variant offers up to 7100 MB/s sequential reads with up to 4300 MB/s sequential writes; while the 1 TB and 2 TB variants offer the same maximum sequential reads, but with increased sequential writes of up to 6400 MB/s. Write endurance for the three models is rated at 160 TBW, 320 TBW, and 640 TBW. The company is backing these drives with 3-year warranties.
