8BitDo is marking the Nintendo 64's 30th anniversary with two new products: a Clear Blue colorway for the Retro 87 Mechanical Keyboard and a matching Ultimate 2 Wireless Controller. The Retro 87 N64 Edition keyboard leans hard into the nostalgia. The yellow arrow keys correspond to the C-buttons on the original N64 controller. The A and B keys match the blue and green of the controller buttons while the left Ctrl key is red, like the Start button. The rest of the keycaps are clear blue, with gray knobs and buttons up top. It ships with two wired Super Buttons in matching color, unlike the wireless Super Buttons that came with the Apple AP50 Edition. Other features are similar to previous 8BitDo Retro 87 keyboards like the aluminium plate, a hot-swappable PCB and Cloud Gray Linear switches co-developed with HUANO. Connectivity covers Bluetooth, 2.4G wireless, and wired USB, with N-key rollover, full software customization via 8BitDo Ultimate Software V2, and a dedicated Xbox Game Bar button. Windows and Android are supported.

The Ultimate 2 Wireless Controller N64 Edition features a translucent blue top shell, colored ABXY buttons, translucent white D-pad and bottom shell, gray thumbsticks, and blue back buttons, with a gray charging dock included. The internals are unchanged from the standard Ultimate 2: TMR thumbsticks, RGB, six-axis motion sensor, 1000 Hz polling rate in wired and 2.4G modes, and compatibility with Windows, Android, SteamOS, and Apple devices. The keyboard is $99.99 with shipping starting August 14, and the controller is available now at $59.99.
