Each week, new games and apps integrating NVIDIA DLSS, NVIDIA Reflex, and advanced ray-traced effects are released or announced, delivering the definitive PC experience for GeForce RTX players. Last week, Valve kicked-off their latest Steam Next Fest, enabling developers to release time-limited demos of their upcoming titles. Many include support for DLSS and other RTX technologies, including two we're highlighting today, which are still playable: the Mortal Shell II Open Beta, and The Sinking City 2 demo.

Additionally, Empulse is out now with DLSS, and Subnautica 2 has upgraded to native DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution.

Mortal Shell II Open Beta Available Now With DLSS & Ray Tracing
Cold Symmetry and Playstack's Mortal Shell II significantly expands on the original Souls-like with unrestricted, adrenaline-charged combat, deeper weapon design with extensive upgrade options, and an emphasis on free exploration. This action-RPG offers an immersive, interconnected open world, expansive yet deliberately compact, designed to unfold its twisted landscapes and hidden structures while respecting the player's time.

Step through derelict temples of ancient deities, across forbidden forests and icy graves, into citadels carved from bone. Scattered between these lost landmarks are more than 60 dungeons, each providing a formidable challenge to the talents and weaponry you have accrued on your way.

Ahead of the full game's release later this year, the Mortal Shell II Open Beta grants access to the opening hours of the full game, from the Prologue into the first explorable region.

Players will begin the Harbinger's journey by possessing fallen Shells and venturing into an early section of the open world. Along the way, you can cleanse beacons, explore optional dungeons, take on hidden mini-bosses and challenges, then press onward toward Magdalena, the Lady of the Woods.

Players who progress beyond the Marrow Keep will also unlock the option to skip the Prologue in the full game. And will also unlock The Flayed Harbinger, an exclusive cosmetic reward available to claim in the full game at launch.

In the Mortal Shell II Open Beta, GeForce RTX gamers can accelerate and enhance their experience with DLSS Super Resolution and Multi Frame Generation, and ray-traced reflections and global illumination lighting. The Sinking City 2 Demo Available Now With DLSS
The Sinking City 2, from renowned developer Frogwares, is set in a Lovecraftian vision of 1920s America, in the infamous city of Arkham. A supernatural flood has driven out all but the most deranged residents, leaving decay and eldritch horrors that roam the streets. Step into the role of Calvin Rafferty, an occult adventurer whose cavalier actions have led to devastating consequences. After a dreaming ritual goes wrong, his girlfriend, Faye, is left trapped in a mysterious sleep. Now Calvin must navigate the drowned streets of a derelict city in a desperate attempt to bring her back. On his quest, he'll come face to face with a plague of otherworldly creatures, the Slither, who possess and twist the dead into lethal, walking puppets.

Ahead of The Sinking City 2's August 18th launch, Frogwares has released a one-hour playable demo, providing the first opportunity to properly meet the new protagonist, occult adventurer Calvin Rafferty, and begin uncovering the reasons behind his tragic and arduous journey into the flooded and Eldritch monster-infested city of Arkham.

In the demo, GeForce RTX players can activate DLSS Super Resolution and Multi Frame Generation to accelerate performance and further enhance image quality.

Empulse Available Launching June 24th With DLSS 4.5
Empulse is 1047 Games' fast-paced 6v6 movement shooter. Wallrun forwards and backwards, swing with a grapple hook, launch off Holojumps, and alter surfaces with P.A.I.N.T. bombs to gain tactical advantage. Every district in Freehold gives you the surfaces, the verticality, and the routes to chain together movement and find your flowstate.

Empulse launches into Early Access tomorrow, June 24th. Subnautica 2 Upgrades To DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution

Now, Subnautica 2 has upgraded to the latest Super Resolution model natively, ensuring all GeForce RTX gamers receive the best possible image quality, and accelerated frame rates.
