Newegg Returns to Computex 2026 with Largest Gamer Zone Yet
by TheLostSwede · 2026-05-29 · via TechPowerUp

Newegg, a global leader in computer and technology products, today announced its participation at the 2026 Taipei International Computer Show (COMPUTEX 2026), taking place June 2-5. Marking Newegg's 25th anniversary year, the showcase is the company's largest-ever Computex footprint, anchored by an expanded Gamer Zone, the debut of Newegg Simulator Builder, and an international PC Builder Championship featuring leading creators from four countries.

Newegg's booth, located at Hall 1, 4F, Booth #L0429A is structured around two zones: a component showcase highlighting new launches from key Newegg marketplace partners, and an immersive sim racing experience built around Newegg's Advanced Battlestations (ABS) prebuilt PCs, MSI gaming monitors, and rigs from premier sim hardware brands Thermaltake and MOZA. The setup will introduce attendees to Newegg Simulator Builder, a new Newegg.com configurator that lets sim racing enthusiasts spec and purchase complete rigs.

International PC Builder Championship—Friday, June 5
Open to all Computex attendees, the third annual Newegg PC Builder event returns Friday, June 5 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. National Standard Time at the Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC), 2F. This year's competition expands into a true global championship, with builders representing four countries: Linda and Bear HSIUNG from Taiwan, Pedro - founder of the PCMR community from Portugal, multiple-time world-record overclocker Takahiro Shimizu from Japan, and YouTube creator ScatterVolt from the United States.

A new SIM MOD Show segment will feature a head-to-head showcase between Thailand's Suchao Modding & Design and U.S.-based veteran case modder Brian "Boddaker" Carter, both presenting fully custom simulator builds.

The event will be livestreamed on Twitch from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. PT on June 4 (U.S. audience), with moderator Deb of Andiethelab. Viewers can also enter the 2026 PC Builder Championship sweepstakes, running through June 4 at 7:00 p.m. PT, with prizes including an MSI RTX 5080 graphics card, an Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus processor, and memory and storage from G.SKILL, V-COLOR, and Team Groupp. Full event details, builder profiles, and sweepstakes rules are available here. Attendees and viewers can follow the action on social using #neweggpcbuilder.

Cross-Industry Collaboration at the Robot Café
On June 2 at 3:00 p.m., Newegg will host a media meeting at the Robot Café on the first floor of TWTC, a collaboration with Sensory AI and Intel. Attending VIPs will experience a fully unmanned, autonomous coffee operation powered by The Robot Barista - Ella XR, which pairs conversational AI ordering with commercial-grade espresso engines to deliver high-quality drinks on demand - no barista staff required. The same Ella XR system is available now through Carota Marketplace on Newegg.com, offering a tangible example of the in-store-to-online path Newegg is building with Carota and Sensory AI: customers experience an AI-powered product in the real world, then purchase it directly through Newegg's platform.

CEO Anthony Chow will be joined by TAITRA Chairman James Huang, Intel General Manager Tasha Chuang, and Carota Founder and CEO Paul Wu to discuss this model and the next wave of AI-integrated consumer experiences.

"Computex has long been one of the most important stages for our industry, and 2026 feels especially significant for Newegg," said Anthony Chow, Newegg CEO. "On our 25th anniversary, the most exciting growth is at the intersection of gaming hardware and the global community that builds with it. That's why we're expanding PC Builder into a true international championship with creators from four countries, and introducing Newegg Simulator Builder to give our customers a new way to put their own rigs together. We're proud to share that stage with partners like Intel, MSI, Thermaltake, and MOZA."
