北京时间 6 月 13 日凌晨，一场史无前例的网络灾难席卷全球。Cloudflare 和 Google Cloud 同时遭遇服务中断，导致包括 Spotify、Discord、Google、Slack 服务在内的数千个网站和应用无法正常访问。

Update June 12, 15:29 EDT: Cloudflare says its services were impacted by Google Cloud's outage.
"This is a Google Cloud outage. A limited number of services at Cloudflare use Google Cloud and were impacted. We expect them to come back shortly. The core Cloudflare services were not impacted," a Cloudflare spokesperson told BleepingComputer.

温馨提示 ​

本次事件中，虽然 AWS, GCP, Azure 等主流云服务 / CDN 服务商也出现了服务不稳定的情况，但这并非因为它们自身依赖 Cloudflare。

可能的原因是 许多大型网站（如 Discord）为了实现高可用性，会同时采用多家云服务商作为冗余热备。

当 Cloudflare 发生故障后，原本由其承载的巨大流量会瞬间涌入其他备用云服务商。由于这些服务商未能预见到如此规模的瞬时流量冲击，其服务器容量迅速被占满，从而引发了连锁性的服务中断。
