There are several colorways on sale on Amazon, including an understatedly patriotic red with navy blue accents. This cooler is bear-resistant and will hold a 24-pack of suds with a little room to spare. It weighs 23 pounds empty, so one person should be able to carry it when it's loaded down, though perhaps not very far.

Yeti Hopper M15 for $199 ($100 off)

If you want a cooler built for carrying, check out the Hopper. Yeti's soft-sided cooler is not currently on sale on Amazon, where you'll see it selling for $300. However, it's $199 at Ace Hardware, and depending on where you live, there's a fair chance you can buy it online and pick it up later today. This bag is made for carrying to beaches or Shakespeare in the Park or quick-format events—not for keeping ice frozen for long stretches in the backcountry.

Yeti Roadie 15 for $150 ($50 off)

As the name implies, this is your classic road-trip cooler. The Roadie 15 fits between two people in the back seat of a car (depending on the people, of course—two of me plus this cooler would be pretty tight in most cars). It holds a 12-pack with plenty of ice and flips open with ease so you can grab another soda without really needing to look. There’s also room to squeeze in a few candy bars you don't want melting on the front seat. The Roadie is rarely this cheap, and the yellow version looks great to me.
