What is Ghostty Playground?
Ghostty Playground combines a Ghostty terminal with a BrowserPod development environment so you can use Bash, Git, Node.js, npm, and project files in one browser page.
Ghostty terminal and BrowserPod runtime
@crunchloop/ghostty-web provides terminal parsing, input, scrollback, selection, and rendering. BrowserPod runs Bash, Git, Node.js, npm, child processes, and a persistent virtual filesystem through WebAssembly.
The Playground connects both systems and adds Ghostty-style configuration, themes, browser controls, and optional local model inference.
Browser-hosted development
Project commands run inside BrowserPod and use its browser filesystem. BrowserPod Portals can expose HTTP servers running inside a Pod through controlled URLs when the host page connects the Portal callback.
