• The project will generate thousands of construction jobs over a multi-year buildout, plus thousands more permanent jobs over the next decade or as additional businesses join the project.

• Local landowners may continue using project land during multi-year phased buildout.

Stratos WON’T Disrupt The Local Community

• Land for the project is located away from populated areas.

• Through all phases of construction and operations, the project must comply with all local, state and federal regulations to minimize impact to the local ecosystem, including air, water and land.

• It is also designed to minimize noise pollution and be dark sky compliant.

Stratos WILL  Provide Increased Financial Resources To The Box Elder County

• Box Elder County will receive millions of dollars of taxes during the initial project phases, scaling up to a projected $108 million annually over time.

• These funds will benefit Emergency Services (Sheriff’s Office, Fire, EMT), Roads, and Schools.

Stratos WON’T Divert Water From Homes, Agricultural Use Or The Great Salt Lake

• It would exclusively use on-site water, which is too salty for human consumption or agricultural use.

• The cooling system will have a closed-loop configuration that re-uses water rather than need constant refilling.

Stratos WILL Support Local Infrastructure Improvements

• Major investments in roads and transportation networks, energy generation and water systems.

• Improvements to retail and other commercial industries in the project and surrounding areas.

Stratos WON’T Increase Electricity Prices

• Stratos will produce all of the power it needs on site using natural gas from the nearby Ruby Pipeline.

Stratos WILL Strengthen Utah’s Economy And National Security

• The project will position Utah as a leader in next-generation technologies like cloud computing and artificial intelligence, both of which will help American businesses and the U.S. Military improve global competitiveness.

• No County funds are required to build the project. All funds will come from the developers and private investors.

• Instead, taxes and fees from Stratos will help offset future property tax increases for residents and businesses.
