Google’s own documentation is explicit about this with structured data. It says structured data helps Google understand content and can make pages eligible for richer treatment, but it does not guarantee that those features will appear.
That distinction matters in AI visibility too.
Structured content can help. Clean schema can help. Better organization data can help disambiguate your brand. But none of those things are the outcome. The outcome is whether AI actually recommends you.
