About SOC 2 Type II and SOC 3

SOC 2 Type II is a globally recognized benchmark for security compliance in the technology sector, especially in the emerging generative AI landscape. The SOC 3 certification provides a public summary of these security controls.

The certification process involves a comprehensive examination of our security practices across five trust service criteria: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. An independent third-party auditor rigorously assessed our internal controls, policies, and procedures to confirm that Stability AI maintains robust data protection measures over time.
