Yesterday, the Ontario government announced the Vector Institute will receive up to $27 million for driving innovation, fostering AI talent, and propelling economic growth. This investment marks a major milestone for the Vector Institute as a recipient of Ontario’s Critical Technology Initiatives program, totalling $107 million.
Overall, this investment will help Vector to accelerate the safe adoption of AI, cultivate AI talent, strengthen global competitiveness for Ontario’s small and medium-sized enterprises, and make it easier for companies to develop cutting-edge AI applications.
