Heh agreed. The flurry is over. If needed, will kick up a git variant.
Expect a regular, gradual cadence going forward.
I think maybe you need a hyprwhspr-git package that tracks VCS so you can test things as they would be packaged without so much churn in version numbers and pushing releases. This was too much to push out to a tagged release stream.
This package is now is proper working order.
Thanks for the patience during initial PoC.
I'm interested in checking this out (and potentially even packaging it in official repos), but looking at the PKGBUILD this is a tangled mess. We can't have packages that depend on base-devel and other build tooling, then build and install things in user space at runtime. This all needs to be refactored to be a proper package that does what it needs to at build time, but the generated package just has everything it says on the tin ready to copy to the target system. If this means we need to setup other packages as well as dependencies we can do that.
Are you willing to work on this, do you need more tips to get started, would you like me to just jump in on this package as a maintainer, should I start over on my own, or how would you like to handle this?
AUR is good to go!
Omarchy installs will "just work".
