Anyone knows how to run this in pure wayland (no xwayland)?
@amb Thanks for confirming that it works.
Thank you for your prompt action @dbermond.
I confirm it now works.
I've uninstalled IRPF2026Linux-x86_64v1.2.sh.bin with the uninstall script that came with it.
And then I installed irpf 2026.1.2-2, copied the backed up files and now it prints the declaration without problems.
And talking about backed up files, on my previous message I forgot to mention ~/ProgramasRFB/IRPF2026/aplicacao/dados/<your CPF>/directory.
@joaof @amb @zehortigoza I could reproduce your issue and pushed a package update that fixes it. Now the declaration visualization is working fine again, like in the 2025 and previous years versions. Thanks for reporting.
Thank you @zehortigoza .
Installing IRPF2026Linux-x86_64v1.2.sh.bin from receita.fazenda.gov.br site worked.
This package seems to be based on the "Multiplataforma" variation.
The .sh.bin file has an script and a stub (probably a .jar file). You must make it executable before use it.
It installs its own JRE (but this is java-17 as the dependency of this package).
Additionally it installs a bunch of Java libraries, including icepdf-core-6.2.2.jar that appeared on my log (I think that this is what make difference).
As you pointed it's important to backup ~/ProgramasRFB/IRPF2026/gravadas/, ~/ProgramasRFB/IRPF2026/transmitidas/, ~/ProgramasRFB/IRPF2026/aplicacao/dados/iddeclaracoes.confand ~/ProgramasRFB/IRPF2026/aplicacao/dados/iddeclaracoes.xml, before uninstall the package irpf and copy them on the corresponding places after installing the .sh.bin.
Maybe in the future the package maintainer could use that other distribution file, or include the libs on this package.
@amb got the same printing problems, did not found any solution other than download the official application and install it. Just make sure to create a copy of your data before uninstall the aur version and then install the official one.
I think @joaof hit the same error than me.
When I try to print the declaration, be it by choosing "Visualizar" or "Imprimir", a modal dialog with a progress bar and a label "Gerando impressão ..." is presented, but the bar, that appears immediately one third filled don't progress, even if you wait for long time, and no visualization or further dialog is presented.
If you click anywhere on the application, or change the focus to another window, the dialog disappears.
I've found the following on log file:
mai. 03, 2026 2:48:33 PM org.icepdf.core.pobjects.Document <clinit>

I don't know if org.icepdf.core is really necessary to printing or visualization, on the end this is only a warning, but maybe there is some package that's missing.
The real error message don't give us information on what backup file is missing.
@joaof what do you mean by "complete tax return"? Where is this option in the program?

Printing worked here using Java 21.0.11, despite the program saying it was written for version 17.
If you check the log IRPF2026.log, for some reason the program can't find paises.xml when you try to print.
