The package now reads flags from webcord-flags.conf in $XDG_CONFIG_HOME (~/.config).
WebCord 4.4.0 updated electron to v26 and the renderer crashes giving you a blank screen.
Downgrade to 4.3.0, or edit /usr/bin/webcord to use electron v25.
Oooh, I'm gonna use this client from now on! Far, far more stable and bug free than the original discord client!
Edit: not a bad program but it has one very annoying problem: it keeps forgetting that the mic is connected and every time I run WebCord, I have to manually disconnect and reconnect the mic for it to work.
@LiquidTown This is a known issue (see upstream: https://github.com/SpacingBat3/WebCord/issues/360) and deleting ~/.config/WebCord/config.json plus ~/.config/WebCord/windowState.json should solve it.
The app is being rewritten anyway so in a few months I imagine this will no longer be an issue.
I deleted the config folder and the error remained. I tried deleting the entire contents of the WebCord directory and it opens up fine again. Thank you for the help!
Hmm, seems like your ~/.config/WebCord/config.json is corrupted. Try to remove it (make backup copy if you want).
@LiquidTown, I don't see any issues. Can you provide the error details? Did you tried clean package rebuild?
I am getting a JSON syntax error when I try to open webcord. Is anyone else experiencing this?
