@jtl: Ah, good point. However, it doesn't work without it. Dependencies that require a program to run should be hard dependencies.
@yochananmarqos I did think about that, then I realized some people might want to install chezmoi through different means, so I marked it as optional dependency locally for next release. Do you think I should make it a hard dep?
