OGDEN's（奥格登）BASIC ENGLISH Word List（in His Order）。基本英语(Basic English)又称简单英语(Simple English)，是由语言学家与哲学家查尔斯·K·奥格登(Charles Kay Ogden)创立的一套国际通用工具语言，对英文外语教学标准和技术说明书写作标准的形成有很大影响。 最常被引用的，是他为英文初学者选择的850个核心单词。学生掌握这些单词后，就可以应对日常生活和工作的各种场景。
