Macy Gray is returning to Australia and New Zealand this spring for her largest-ever tour of the region, spanning 21 Australian shows and six New Zealand dates across September and October.

The Encore Tour kicks off at Melbourne’s Hamer Hall on Sept. 11 and winds through metropolitan and regional Australia — including cities Gray has not previously played, among them Shepparton, Albury, Port Macquarie, Tamworth, Erina and Shoal Bay — before the Australian leg closes at Margaret River on Oct. 24. The New Zealand run then opens in Wellington on Oct. 15 and takes in Hamilton, Auckland, Hawke’s Bay, Christchurch and Tauranga before wrapping Oct. 22.

Pre-sale tickets for Australian shows are available from June 1 at 9 a.m. local time for venue and ticket outlet database members, with general sale opening June 3 at 9 a.m. local time via macygraylive.com.au. New Zealand general sale opens June 4 at 9 a.m. local time.

The tour follows a sold-out Australian run in 2024 and will include the live debut of new material from Gray’s forthcoming album The Trouble with the Truth, including her cover of Right Said Fred’s “I’m Too Sexy.” Australian audiences will be the first in the world to hear tracks from the new album performed live. “Australia! The band and I have always had a ball down under, and we can’t wait to see you all again,” Gray said in a statement. “This time, I’m heading to places I’ve never been before and will get to see so much more of your beautiful country.”

Gray broke through internationally in 1999 with “I Try,” which peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100, topped the charts in Australia, New Zealand and Ireland, and won Best Female Pop Vocal Performance at the 2001 Grammy Awards — where it was also nominated for Record of the Year and Song of the Year. Her debut album On How Life Is topped the ARIA Albums Chart in Australia and spent 44 weeks on the New Zealand Albums Chart. Across a career spanning more than two decades, Gray has released 10 studio albums, won a Grammy Award, two BRIT Awards and sold more than 25 million records worldwide.
