Trending on Billboard

Graduation season is upon us, but T-Mobile is already looking ahead to back to school season with the arrival of some early, can’t-miss deals on one of the most popular phones of the year for students (and well, everyone).

Right now, new customers can get an all-new iPhone 17 Pro on T-Mobile, as part of the carrier’s iPhone “on us” deal. The offer is valid for new and existing T-Mobile customers who upgrade to a qualifying phone plan. We recommend the Experience Beyond plan, which gets you unlimited talk, text and data, unlimited mobile hotspot, and free Netflix and Hulu for one low monthly price of $100/month (with AutoPay).

Once activated, you’ll receive up to $1,000 back for the value of your phone, via monthly bill credits spread out over 24 months. There’s no trade-in required.

The TLDR: pick a phone, sign up for one of T-Mobile’s Experience More or Beyond plans, and you’ll be reimbursed for the cost of your device, effectively meaning that you got the phone for free. Choose from three iPhone 17 Pro colorways online including the trending orange colorway seen above.

You can also find a Samsung Galaxy T-Mobile deal, which gets you a new S26+ phone “On Us.” I had a chance to personally test out the Android phone when it was released earlier this year and I could not stop playing around with all the camera features — think 50MP main camera, a 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom (great for concerts when you’re stuck in the nosebleeds), and brighter, clearer pics even in low light.

You can also use Samsung Galaxy AI to enhance and edit your images (say, to remove something in the background, or bring out the colors of your sunset pics).

T-Mobile’s new back-to-school deals let you grab a new phone to use with the “Best Mobile Network in the U.S.” according to the online metrics agency, Ookla Speedtest. What we like: order your new phone online today at T-Mobile.com and you can pick it up the same day in store (or get in delivered with fast, at-home shipping). And you don’t need to be a student to claim these offers either — the T-Mobile back to school deals are open to all customers. See more details and offers here.
