Oh, absolutely not. No, no.

They can’t. 

Thought it would be so interesting to talk to you about being a vocal coach to so many of the highest-performing singers in the game right now. You started working with Ariana when she was what? 

About 13. 

Thirteen? 

Yeah, really young. 

Okay. So what was your first impression of her? 

Superstar. People don’t realize how much stress and strain there is on the human voice for these people. Most audience members just think, “Oh, they sing at night onstage for an hour and a half or two hours.” They don’t realize they do camera blocking, do a soundcheck, get in hair and makeup, then do the show, then maybe a pop-up meet and greet, then an interview. There is so much involved. So they’re using their voice the entire day.

I’ve heard before that taking a shot of whiskey before you go onstage helps loosen up your vocal cords. 

Don’t do it if you’re listening. Don’t listen to her. Ignore this lady. She’s crazy.
