Paramount‘s “Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow,” starring Daisy Edgar-Jones and directed by Siân Heder, will hit theaters next November.

The studio has dated the modern love story for a wide theatrical release on November 12, 2027.

Gabrielle Zevin’s best-selling novel tells the story of two friends whose lives first intersect in childhood and college, and follows them over several decades as they become creative partners in the video game business of the 1990s-2000s. Variety exclusively reported that Edgar-Jones — hot on the heels of box office hits “Twisters” and “Where the Crawdads Sing,” as well as the acclaimed TV shows “Normal People” and “Under the Banner of Heaven” — would star in the film, playing Sadie Green. The plot centers on the brilliant game designer and her co-collaborator Sam Masur, as well as Sam’s roommate and friend Marx Watanabe, as they build a video game studio called Unfair Games. Casting for Sam and Marx is yet to be revealed.

Siân Heder, an Oscar winner for “CODA,” is directing and writing the screenplay based on drafts by Mark Bomback and Zevin. Heder is also producing the film alongside Temple Hill’s Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen and Isaac Klausner. Zevin will serve as executive producer.

“Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow” was published in 2022 and has sold over four million copies worldwide in 40 foreign language territories. Zevin’s novel has been named one of the 100 best books of the 21st Century by the New York Times and one of the best fiction books of the last 30 years by the Los Angeles Times.
