NBCUniversal is hosting an invite-only comedy showcase at 30 Rock on Friday, June 12, putting a select group of up-and-coming talent in front of industry leaders including NBCU casting and development executives, late-night execs, agents and bookers.

The showcase, dubbed “NBC100 Presents: The NBC Comedy Hour,” borrows its title from NBC’s original broadcast series that ended its run on June 10, 1956, nearly 70 years ago to the date. The title is an homage to the comedic legacy of the network, which pioneered late-night TV and created “Saturday Night Live,” the longest-running sketch comedy show in history.

Hosted by Monet X Change (“The Traitors”), the showcase will feature Eeland Stribling, Sammy Mowrey, Dvontre Coleman, Maggie Crane, KC Shornima and Rocky Dale Davis. While each have proven their comedic chops between writers rooms and club stages, a couple of the comics do not currently have representation.

The lineup was curated by the NBC and Peacock casting team, led by Grace Wu, EVP of casting for NBC and Peacock, after consideration from various open showcases, auditions and open mic nights.
