‘The Reluctant Traveler With Eugene Levy’ Renewed for Sea...

The Emmy-award nominated travel series “The Reluctant Traveler With Eugene Levy,” hosted and executive produced by Eugene Levy, has been renewed for Season 4.

With eight episodes, Levy “attempts to up the ante by saying ‘yes’ to the kinds of travel experiences he’s spent a lifetime carefully avoiding, even in previous seasons,” an official series synopsis reads. “This season he pushes himself even further by embracing unfamiliar experiences, unexpected challenges and the kinds of adventures he once would have instantly and instinctively turned down.”

Levy said in a statement: “After three seasons on the show I have just about accepted, albeit begrudgingly, that saying ‘yes’ to new experiences is not necessarily a bad thing for me. So, I’ve committed to saying ‘yes’ a little more often this season. It’s a strategy I’m approaching with considerable caution.”

The series is produced for Apple TV by Twofour; executive producers include Levy, David Brindley, Nic Patten, Lily Fitzpatrick, Iain Peckham and Adam Barry.

EXECUTIVE NEWS

Fox Television Stations has promoted Matt McLaughlin to SVP of Ad Sales, replacing Tom Fleming, who was promoted to EVP last week.

In his new role, Fox veteran McLaughlin will be responsible for overseeing local and national sales across all 29 Fox owned-and-operated stations. He will report directly to Fleming.

“Matt is a dynamic sales leader who has consistently excelled in various roles over his long tenure at Fox,” Fleming said in a statement. “He has been instrumental in developing a multi-market, multi-screen mindset both internally and with our media partners, and is perfectly suited to bring this sales team to the next level.”

McLaughlin has spent 26 years at Fox Television Stations, holding various roles as VP, general sales manager and director of sales. He was previously the local sales manager and national sales manager for Fox stations in New York and Washington, D.C.

In a statement, McLaughlin said of his promotion: “I am honored to lead this amazing team and excited to continue creating innovative solutions that deliver meaningful results for all of our advertising partners.”

TRAILERS

Prime Video has released the trailer for the upcoming docuseries “Murder 101,” based on the KT Studios and iHeartMedia true-crime podcast.

Per the official description, “Murder 101” centers on “a high school sociology class and their teacher, who delve into decades-old cold cases and uncover long-buried truths. Led by teacher Alex Campbell, the students of Elizabethton High School begin investigating the Redhead Murders—a series of unsolved killings that once captured headlines across the South before fading from public memory. What starts as a classroom project soon evolves into a remarkable real-world investigation, as the students uncover new leads, connect long-overlooked clues, and bring fresh attention to victims who were nearly forgotten. Along the way, they discover that the search for answers is about more than solving a case—it’s about giving a voice to the people at the center of it and proving that determination can come from the most unexpected places.”

All three episodes of the show will be available on Prime Video on July 13.

Directed by Stacey Lee, “Murder 101” is produced by KT Studios and Freshman Year with Jon Watts, Dianne McGunigle and Stephanie Lydecker serving as executive producers.
