Buy Monopoly FIFA World Cup Edition Panini Prizm Cards, Deal Game
Tim Chan · 2026-05-24 · via Variety

The merch rollout for the 2026 FIFA World Cup has started, with Hasbro unveiling two new Monopoly collaborations with the global soccer tournament.

The first is a collaboration between Monopoly and popular trading card manufacturer Panini. The “Monopoly Panini Prizm: FIFA World Cup Game” combines the classic property-trading game with Panini Prizm soccer cards.

NEW RELEASE

Monopoly Panini Prizm: FIFA World Cup Game

Rather that collecting properties, players compete to take control of historic World Cup matches while making sure to avoid the bench (a.k.a. jail). And instead of buying railroads and stacking houses, players build their squads using Panini Prizm cards that feature current stars and soccer legends. Anyone that lands on a square (or “match”) that is already occupied must compete for points by comparing stats on their cards and rolling a special dice. The winner, naturally, gets to compete at the FIFA World Cup 2026.

This new release combines the beloved gameplay of Monopoly with the trading card nostalgia that’s seemingly become a hit again, thanks to Pokemon cards and other pop culture collectibles. Indeed, the Panini Prizm cards included with each game set are collectibles themselves, with six exclusive “Gold Cracked Ice Monopoly” Panini Prizm cards in every box, plus exclusive “Hat Trick” cards and ultra-rare “White Money Blast” inserts.

The cards feature stars like Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappé, Italian great Paolo Maldini, Brazilian legends Pelé and Marta, and Team USA stars like Christian Pulisic and USWNT icon Mia Hamm. There are 16 cards in total per Monopoly set.

You can also pick up a booster pack with six packs of cards. There are four cards per pack. Collect them individually or use them with your Monopoly FIFA World Cup game. Like the game, this booster pack features both current soccer stars and retired footballers.

The second Monopoly released timed to this summer’s World Cup is a FIFA-themed edition of Monopoly Deal. The quick-play card game has players competing to create a FIFA World Cup team. The first person to collect three sets of players wins.

ALL AGES

Cards are listed by position (I.e. attacking midfielder, striker, goalkeeper, etc.), while action cards let you do everything from stealing and swapping players, to earning extra points or reversing an action again you (using the red card, natch).

There are 111 cards in total, all housed in a FIFA World Cup 2026-branded plastic case. Shop the Monopoly releases and see more details on Amazon.com.

The 2026 World Cup, meantime, kicks off June 11. Find tickets to all the matches here.
