Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner brought their bicoastal style to Cleveland on Monday night for Game 4 of the NBA Playoffs. Perhaps vintage merch and custom designer are good luck: for the first time in 30 years, the New York Knicks have clinched a spot in the NBA Finals.
For the Knicks’ seminal match against the Cavaliers, Chalamet wore a leather bomber jacket, detailed with a Knicks logo on the chest and orange lettering across the sleeve. He paired the custom outerwear with a grey long-sleeve, layered underneath a blue vintage Knicks t-shirt to match Kylie Jenner’s own retro apparel. While their exact tees aren’t widely available, there are similar styles available online, including this scrim tee from 47 Brand, with a faded blue-grey hue for a vintage feel.
As for footwear, Chalamet and Jenner are of two different ethos. Last week, the “Marty Supreme” actor sat courtside in a pair of classic Ugg boots but returned to his trusty Chrome Hearts Timberlands for Game 4. Jenner, meanwhile, dressed up her tee and jeans with a chic pair of Manolo Blahnik thong sandals.
Thankfully, the Hollywood couple has more opportunity to show off their courtside style over the next few months. The Knicks have clinched the franchise’s first Finals appearance since 1999 after completing a stunning four-game sweep against the Cavaliers. Now, the New York team will face either the Oklahoma City Thunder or San Antonio Spurs with the Western Conference Finals series currently tied 2-2 heading into Game 5 Tuesday night.
