Apple TV has revealed a first look at “Last Seen,” a new six-episode Australian thriller. The show will debut with the first two episodes on the platform on September 9, followed by a new episode every Wednesday.
“Last Seen,” formerly known as “The Dispatcher,” follows police detective Ian Ridley (Patrick Brammall), whose “life fell apart 11 years ago when his young daughter Maggie disappeared without a trace,” per the official logline. “Now working as a police dispatcher, the only thing that has kept him going is his implacable refusal to accept that she might be gone forever. When he receives a distress call from a teenage girl he is certain is Maggie, he will stop at nothing to find her and reunite his broken family, whatever the cost.”
Directed by Christian Schwochow, the show also stars Maxine Peake, Brendan Cowell, Daniel Henshall, Jessica Wren, Zahra Newman and Chloe Jean Lourdes. Kris Mrksa adapted the series from author Ryan David Jahn’s book “The Dispatcher.”
The series is executive produced by Jamie Laurenson and Hakan Kousetta at 60Forty Films, with executive producers Schwochow, Mrksa and Joanna Werner at Werner Film Productions.

Colin Farrell returns as private detective and film lover John Sugar in the trailer for “Sugar” Season 2, and he’s ready to take on another case.
Beginning Friday, June 19, new episodes will air weekly through Aug. 7 on Apple TV. After choosing to remain on Earth at the end of Season 1, this new season picks up with a new investigation as Sugar searches for the older brother of an up-and-coming local boxer, according to a series description. “As the investigation expands into a sinister, city-wide conspiracy, Sugar must reckon with himself to answer the question –– how far will he go to do what’s right?”
New cast additions include Jin Ha, Raymond Lee, Tony Dalton, Laura Donnelly, Sasha Calle and guest star Shea Whigham. Sam Catlin serves as showrunner and executive produces under his Short Drive Entertainment banner.
Executive producers include Farrell, Audrey Chon, Simon Kinberg, Scott Greenberg and Chip Vucelich.

“Inside Edition”s Emmy award-winning reporter Les Trent is retiring after over 20 years as a New York-based correspondent. As Trent departs, the news magazine is bringing on Justin Finch as its newest reporter.
“After more than 25 years at ‘Inside Edition,’ it’s hard to say goodbye to a place that has meant so much to me for so long,” Trent said in a statement. “I’m incredibly grateful for the stories, the loyal viewers, and the remarkable team I’ve worked alongside — I’m looking forward to enjoying retirement and this next phase of life.”
Since joining CBS Media Ventures’ “Inside Edition” in 2000, Trent has become known in the journalism world for his reporting on the sex abuse trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs, and his story on the death of a paranormal investigator linked to a Raggedy Ann-like doll named Annabelle. He also secured the exclusive interview with Morgan Scott, a young woman who survived a hit-and-run in New Jersey.
Finch joins “Inside Edition” from PIX 11 Morning News and ABC News, where he covered Capitol Hill, the Supreme Court, the White House and the Jan. 6 insurrection fallout. In a statement, he said, “’Inside Edition’ has connected millions of viewers to the stories that matter for nearly four decades, and I’m thrilled to join the team and get to work!”

Actor and model Don Benjamin is set to partner with Dramatik, a new vertical micro-drama platform, which will focus on cultural storytelling among Black and Latino communities.
Benjamin first gained recognition as a contestant on “America’s Next Top Model,” and recently appeared in “Him” and “Adopted 2.” Benjamin has also starred in several music videos, namely Cardi B and Kehlani’s “Safe” in 2025.
Alongside Benjamin, Dramatik has also signed first-look deals with DeStorm Power, Antonio Ramos (“Tonio Skits”) and Cristian “Concrete” Gutierrez. Power will write, produce, and star in original content; Ramos will focus on comedic writing, producing, and acting; and Gutierrez will develop and star in character-driven series for the platform.
Fox Entertainment Studios and Access Entertainment have boarded filmmaker Avi Nesher’s “Our Loves,” backed by Sipur Studios, United King Films and Artomas Communications.
Per the official description, “Our Loves” is inspired by true events and is an “emotionally gripping story about the enduring strength of the human spirit and the transformative power of love in the face of horror. Set against a backdrop of violence, uncertainty, and unimaginable loss, the film follows an ensemble of interconnected characters whose lives are forever changed over the course of a single devastating day.”
Fox has been tracking the project since its inception at Sipur, with Fernando Szew, President and Head of the Studio, providing creative input and oversight. After seeing an early cut, the studio brought on Moriah Media, joining Sipur and United King Films as co-studios on the project. A similar process was followed by Access Entertainment, led by Danny Cohen, which is also joining the film as a co-studio.
BET has announced that the original docuseries “OG Stories” will premiere June 17.
Hosted by record executive, film producer, director, and actor Damon Dash, “OG Stories” will air weekly on BET over five weeks and features the stories of self-made moguls. Per the official description, “each episode will dive into the untold past and present of a street legend who built their empires from nothing, revealing the mindset and moments that shaped them. With cinematic visuals and brutally honest conversations, the show explores what it takes to evolve from the trenches to the top. Whether it’s about surviving the streets, making millions, or breaking generational curses, ‘OG Stories’ captures the blueprint from those who’ve lived it, anchored in authenticity, legacy, and culture.”
The premiere episode features Michelle Smalls (aka Queen of Harlem), an author and real estate broker; the second episode follows criminal defense attorney Dawn Florio, and Dash is later joined by Steve Mack, his childhood friend from Harlem, who has worked closely with him on his business and media ventures.
“OG Stories” is created and directed by Dash. Executive producers are The Dash Group LLC and Jason Harvey, with Nicolette Durham serving as associate producer. Josh Pyzynski serves as director of photography. Music supervision is led by Damon Dash and Nicolette Durham. Audio post-production engineering is handled by Eric Hoegemeyer. The series is edited by Josh Pyzynski, Pierre Adams, Michael Coleman, Julian Ramirez, and Molly Menchen.
“You’re Killing Me” has been renewed by Acorn TV for a second season, stars Brooke Shields and Amalia Williamson announced during an ATX Television Festival panel in Austin, TX. Season 2 of the murder mystery series will consist of six, hour-long episodes and go into production later this year.
Season 1 of “You’re Killing Me” follows Allie (Shields), a bestselling novelist, “who forms an unlikely alliance with an aspiring writer and podcaster Andi (Williamson), to find the killer of a close friend,” per the official logline. Tom Cavanagh stars as Jack, “the new lead detective of the local Police Department and former city slicker who is trying to acclimate to the quirks of small-town life.” The Season 1 finale will air on June 22.
