The best Sonos deal isn't on Amazon for Prime Day. As part of its Summer Sale, Walmart is offering a Sonos Arc soundbar for just $249 with free shipping. Full disclaimer, the description is a little confusing. Walmart lists in the sidebar that it is a "restored" product in "good" condition and implies a 90-day Walmart warranty. At the same time, the description states that this is a Sonos direct refurbished model with the same one-year warranty as buying brand new. It's sold and shipped by Walmart, not a marketplace reseller. At this price, I think it's worth the gamble, especially if you have a retail location nearby that you can process a return if necessary.

The release of the Arc Ultra doesn't make the Arc any less of a great speaker. The 45-inch soundbar houses eleven precisely engineered internal speakers, including three tweeters and eight midwoofers each paired with Class-D amplifiers. It's capable of room filling audio by itself, but you'd still benefit from a separate subwoofer to round out the low end. Unlike the Sonos Beam, which only has virtual height channels, the Arc has two physical height channels for true Dolby Atmos support. The Arc also has a built-in microphone for smart assistant compatiblity, including voice control.
