One of the best times of the year for PS5 and PS4 owners to score some welcome gaming deals, PlayStation’s Days of Play sale is live, with plenty of bargains in the UK, as well as offers in the US.
After starting on May 27, the Days of Play deals will be live until June 10 at 11:59 PM local time. Whilst there sadly aren’t any discounted PS5 or PS5 Pro consoles this time around, there are major savings to be had on not just games — but collector’s editions, PlayStation Plus subscriptions, controllers, headsets, earbuds, and even the PSVR 2.
While you can buy a new DualSense in various colours for £49.99 at £20 off, the slightly more expensive special edition controllers on offer at £54.99 are even better — as you can grab a stunning controller based around one of five major games:
A major deal on one of Sony’s most recent big PS5 hits, the Days of Play sale has knocked £90 off the Ghost of Yotei Collector’s Edition’s usual £219.99 base price — now only £129.99.
The most notable reason this tops our list is that it’s got one of the arguably best collectables from a PS5 generation game. In addition to a digital copy of the base game (which usually costs £69.99 a la carte), you also get the displayable eerily cool Ghost Mask.
That’s along with a plethora of physical and in-game digital extras, too, like art cards, a papercraft ginkgo tree, extra armour, and a sword kit.
Although coming out a couple of years before Ghost of Yotei’s, Spider-Man 2’s Collector’s Edition — also £90 off at £129.99 — is well more than worth its new price as well. To go with the digital base game and extra in-game Spidey Suits, you’ll get the incredible 19-inch Venom statue.
Featuring the symbiote fighting Peter Parker and Miles Morales at the same time, this statue is a premium piece that makes for the best Collector’s Edition I have ever bought, and I only wish I was able to buy it at this price back in 2023.
That highly anticipated Witcher 3 expansion announcement couldn’t have had better timing, because The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition is now only £6.99 with a humungous 80% chopped off in honour of The Days of Play sale.
Bundled with the already massive 100-hour base game, this also comes with both other previous expansions: Hearts of Stone & Blood and Wine, worth around an added 50 combined. With the upcoming Songs of the Past DLC not out until 2027, you’ll have plenty of time to catch up.

Speaking of complete editions of games from CD Projekt Red, Cyberpunk 2077: Complete Edition’s 45% price cut to £31.89 is more than worth checking out, too.
The base game and Phantom Liberty expansion are on sale individually as well (£17.99 and £16.24 respectively), but you’re saving the most by grabbing the combined version of this very large and now well-beloved futuristic RPG.
If you own a PS5 with a disc drive, I usually recommend buying the physical versions of big new games — since you can find way better prices via retailer deals than at the PS Store — but the Days of Play deals have made the one case where it’s worth buying Resident Evil Requiem digitally: now a mere £45.49 with a 30% price drop.
Although the critically beloved horror game came out in February, physical prices are still around £50-55 at retailers like Amazon. If you’re a Resident Evil fan who’s not had the chance to play Requiem yet, it’s the ideal time to go digital.
From the devil’s advocate perspective for the aforementioned physical vs digital argument, not all big games are readily available physically for a reasonable price; that’s why Baldur’s Gate 3, now only being £43.49 at 25% off, is another standout Days of Play deal.
The only way to buy Baldur’s Gate 3 physically in the West is by buying the expensive Deluxe Edition from developer Larian’s own website — which already costs around £70, due to the included physical extras you can’t opt out of, but also usually come with massive delivery prices, and aren’t always available to buy.
If you want to buy and play Baldur’s Gate 3 on PS5 right now, spending just nearly £44 in the Days of Play sale is the only and best way to do it.
The recent PlayStation Plus subscription price hikes across its tiers were indeed unwelcome news, but in addition to the 12-month plans being unaffected, they’re now up to 33% off, as well.

If you’re a lapsed subscriber who was going to hold off recommitting due to the price hikes, at least buying a year of Essential will be your biggest money saver in the long run.
Whilst there are a solid handful of third-party gaming headsets that can give you 3D audio on the PS5, the PULSE Elite is still one of the best to do it — and is now at one of its best-ever prices at £89.99 after a £40 discount.
Available both in black and white, you’ll also get 30 hours of battery life and a handy mic featuring a dual noise-cancelling microphone.
The closest thing we’ll get to a console deal in the Days of Play Sale, both the à la carte PSVR 2 headset and the version bundled with Horizon Call of the Mountain, which are now only £309.99 with £90 taken off the usual £399.99 price tag.
You should know before pulling the trigger that PlayStation has essentially stalled support for VR games. Nevertheless, if you’re a lover of VR and want to check out a varied back catalogue, this sale is the most budget-friendly opportunity to do so.
