Abstract:In this expository paper, we provide an introduction to elliptic functions and Eisenstein series from a classical analytic perspective while highlighting their broader mathematical significance. The exposition assumes familiarity with basic complex analysis, particularly meromorphic functions, contour integration, and power series expansions.
