While we have seen Coreboot work-in-progress support for older Ryzen-powered Framework Laptops, it seems there is a recent uptick in development around supporting Coreboot on Framework Computer's modern Intel-powered wares.
As of last week merged to Coreboot is Marigold as the Framework Laptop 13 with Core Ultra Series 1 (Meteor Lake). The 13-inch Framework Laptop with Intel Meteor Lake now has upstream Coreboot support. Most functionality is working but work that remains to do but works with the correct EC ACPI code includes the eSPI built-in keyboard, eSPI PS/2 emulated mouse/touchpad, the cros_ec OS driver, and battery/AC reporting. Thunderbolt 4 and USB4 along with s0ix have also not yet been tested.
There is this documentation commit that outlines the current support and build details.
Meanwhile in Framework Computer's downstream Coreboot Git repository, as of yesterday is adding Sakura as the Framework Laptop 13 with Intel Core Ultra Series 3. Great to see Framework Computer working on Coreboot support already for their forthcoming Panther Lake powered laptop. Currently supported functionality with Coreboot on the Panther Lake laptop is similar to with the Meteor Lake laptop.
Great seeing all of this Coreboot work happening by Framework Computer and will be interesting to see if ultimately matures enough to become officially supported on their laptops in the future.
