Moving from Pfizer Inc. to Nike Inc. may seem like an unusual career shift for a finance chief. For David Denton, it marks a return to the consumer sector after four years in pharmaceuticals.
Denton, who became chief financial officer at Pfizer in 2022 after stints at Lowe’s Cos. and CVS Health Corp., will take over Nike’s finances, replacing Matthew Friend after more than six years in the role, the company said Tuesday.
