The European Union held discussions with the Trump administration on access to Anthropic PBC’s most advanced artificial intelligence models after the US restricted foreign nationals from accessing the technology earlier this month.
The bloc discussed the move, which led to Anthropic completely disable access to its Fable 5 and Mythos 5 models, during a trip to Washington this week by a senior policymaker, according to European Commission Executive Vice President Henna Virkkunen.
