Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey appealed for help in identifying who is behind a barrage of bizarre social media posts using fake images of him fighting Reform UK leader Nigel Farage.

Bailey said on Thursday that the BOE is “finding it very hard” to identify the source of the adverts that have been widely circulating on social media platform X in recent weeks.
