The Lewis family is said to be preparing a cash injection into the Premier League team Tottenham Hotspur to help fund the team’s revamp after a disastrous few seasons.
The investment in holding company ENIC Sports Inc. could be at least £100 million ($132 million), according to a person familiar with the matter. Tottenham is majority-owned by ENIC Sports, in which billionaire businessman Joe Lewis’s family own just over 70%. Levy and members of his family own the rest of ENIC.
