Ministry of Water Resources addressed at 9 a.m. today (May 24th)Anhui, Henan, Chongqing, and Shaanxi have launched Level IV flood defense emergency response.It is required that local water conservancy departments and river basin management agencies closely monitor the development and changes of rainfall and flood conditions, scientifically and accurately implement flood control dispatching of water projects, strengthen the flood safety of small and medium-sized reservoirs and ongoing projects, and fully ensure the life and property safety of the people.

Currently, the Ministry of Water Resources maintains Level IV emergency response for flood defense in Jiangxi, Hubei, and Hunan provinces.
