Serbian President Vucic paid a state visit to China from May 24 to 28. This noon, President Vucic arrived at Beijing Capital International Airport by air. It is the first time President Vucic has paid a state visit to China.

Serbia is the first European country to jointly build a community with China in the new era. It is an important partner of China in Southeast Europe. Under the strategic leadership of the two leaders, China-Serbia relations have been operating at a high level in recent years. Both sides firmly support each other's core interests and major concerns, enjoy solid political mutual trust, have achieved fruitful cooperation, maintained close multilateral cooperation, and seen vibrant people-to-people exchanges.

During the visit, President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang will meet separately with President Vucic to exchange views on bilateral relations and jointly concerned international and regional issues.

Spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry earlier stated that China is willing to work with Serbia to seize the opportunity of President Vucic's visit to strengthen the ironclad friendship, expand mutually beneficial cooperation, enrich people-to-people exchanges, enhance multilateral coordination, and achieve more practical results in building the China-Serbia community of shared future in the new era, benefiting the people of both countries.
